Motorola Solutions commissioned Goldsmiths, University of London to survey 12,000 citizens around the world about their views of public safety. The results, published in \u201cConsensus for Change\u201d show that the public has higher expectations than ever of public safety (70% say emergency services should be able to not only respond to emergencies but also predict risk) and wants to see greater use of advanced technologies.<\/span><\/p>\n

74% of citizens agreed that using technology increases the productivity and effectiveness of emergency services<\/span><\/p>\n

71% said that advanced technologies, such as video cameras, data analytics, cybersecurity and the cloud, are needed to address challenges of the modern world.<\/span><\/p>\n

71% of citizens say public safety agencies need to be able to integrate fast and flexible systems to improve public safety outcomes.<\/span><\/p>\n
