Safety Built From Trust

Connected Environments encompasses three key innovative solutions that enable emergency services to operate with greater transparency, efficiency, and resilience, allowing them to build safer communities by establishing trust:

Connected Vehicle arrived in Helsinki after being on a road tour, which started in London with stops in Hamburg, Copenhagen, Oslo, Gothenburg, and Stockholm before CCW. Along the way, customers could book a test drive to see how the Connected Vehicle delivers critical real-time situational awareness by connecting critical voice technology, software applications, and video systems, essentially bringing control room intelligence into the car. First responders are a community’s first line of defense. Empowering them with real-time location and status information of other vehicles in their fleet enables better decision-making in emergency situations.

Connected Officer equips first responders with the tools they need to communicate and collaborate effectively, establish trust and transparency, and always prioritize safety in the field. This includes access to real-time data, maps, and other information, as well as the ability to communicate with others. Body-worn cameras, digital notebooks, and two-way radios allow critical information to be captured and shared in real-time to other officers in the field as well as the control room, streamlining workflow.

Connected Control Room provides a single, unified view of all the information gathered from multiple connected communication technologies. Flows of information are seamlessly integrated, analyzed, and managed to improve coordination and collaboration between first responders and those in command centers who are managing and coordinating emergency responses.

Connected Environments Booth Tour

Visitors to Motorola Solutions’ booth had a chance to see an impressive demonstration of how various components of our Connected Environments solutions enhance efficacy, safety, and trust for frontline personnel.

Connected Vehicle

  • MISPER scenario – when deployment messages are received in the vehicle through Carplay/PSCore, blue lights activate the M500, CAD updates are conducted and CCTV (Avigilon) can be viewed in-vehicle
  • BWC is activated by HolsterAware and Peer-Assisted-Recording when leaving the vehicle and federated search is made using OIFR on Pronto before finally tagging and linking footage in Pronto

Connected Officer

  • Automatic recording on BWC and in-field evidence sharing on integrated TETRA MXP600
  • Officer initiated facial recognition through our mobility applications
  • BWC (VB400) integrations with HolsterAware, VideoManager, Pronto, and Radio

Connected Control Room

  • Smart ANPR AI solution demo with BWC (VB400) reading a number plate, which is then fed to ACC and enables Orchestrate to trigger an alert to three handheld devices
